Ha’apiti Pension - 7 nights from $1259 Includes return flights (ex Auckland), accommodation and return car/ferry transfers

Located near the Ha’apiti pass, the self catering accommodation is easily accessible by Le Truck from the ferry terminal. The lodges have a spacious fan-cooled double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with outside patio. Surf access is available by boat (or kayak) to the pass out front and by 4WD to the several other breaks around the island. Ha’apiti is one the best left hand breaks in the islands. It faces south so it picks up swell predominantly in the winter months. It is a long wave with multiple take off spots and sections which wall up or barrel ending a deep channel. A general store is nearby in easy walking or biking distance for food supplies. There are kayaks and bikes available free of charge. The pension is located right on the coast with good swimming and snorkelling on your doorstep.
