Most hotels have their own tour desks, normally contracted out to a local operator. They can assist you to arrange a wide range of activities and tours of varying durations and styles and prices. If you have a special request, do not be afraid to ask, as often these can be accommodated.

Each island has a circle island tour, in some cases by outrigger speed canoe, and these are a good idea to take shortly after your arrival as they offer an insight into the island’s layout, history and are generally a good orientation. You may then like to do your own slower tour by rental vehicle to catch up on areas of particular interest.

In addition, hotels offer their own activities which range from picnics on the “motu” (islet) through to evening activities and games.
